Description: The Fezouata formation or Fezouata schist contains extraordinary fossils due to the fact that the animals were quickly buried by storm deposits formed by silt and clays, favorable conditions for the conservation of soft tissues (now pyritized or altered due to a mixture of oxides and iron hydroxides, hence its orange-red color)

The fossils belong to two intervals, Tremadocian and Floian, much less rich in fossils.

Fossil well preserved, 100% natural, without restoration or painting.
