Description: Spectacular, 100% natural trilobite of the highly prized collector's species Drotops armatus, with an accurate form. This rare trilobite appears in the Givetian stage of the Bou Dib Formation. The spines on this specimen are genuine, and it took over 40 hours of work to extract it from the rock. It was meticulously cleaned using a hammer drill and sandblasting by expert hands. The fossil is well-preserved, 100% natural, with no restoration, spines from another trilobite, or paint.
This piece will travel insured in a safety package to arrive in perfect condition.
