Description: The Fezouata formation or Fezouata shale contains some extraordinary fossils because the animals were quickly buried by storm deposits made up of silts and clays, favorable conditions for the preservation of soft tissues (now pyritized or altered due to a mixture of oxides and hydroxides of iron, hence its orange-red color)
The fossils belong to two intervals, the Tremadocian and the Floian, much less rich in fossils.
Fossil sandblasted, well preserved, 100% natural, without restoration or painting.
This piece will travel insured in a safety package to arrive in perfect condition.
