Description: The finest specimen of this species we've ever had. Trilobites from this quarry are not usually well-preserved; they are often found deformed. It took us over three years to find a Saharops in this condition; we discarded several before finding one like this. Extensive cleaning work was required, taking many hours to achieve this result. The preparation was superb, carried out by expert hands using a hammer drill and sandblasting. The fossil is exceptionally well-preserved, 100% natural, with no restoration, spines from another trilobite, or paint.
This piece will travel insured in a safety package to arrive in perfect condition.
