Description: Well preserved fossil, 100% natural, without restoration or painting.

Plumulites was an armored slug or worm. The armored annelid worm is the relative of the earthworm, the leech, and the modern bristle worm. In general, the preservation of these fossils is incomplete and poor, as they were soft-bodied. This particular specimen is exceptionally well preserved and exhibits an orange rust patina showing excellent detail of the feathery appendages. You can also see a multitude of remains of other small animals.
