Description: Exceptionally well-preserved trilobite assemblage of different species from the Fezzouata Formation. Kierarges morrisoni is a very rare species; this is the first specimen we have obtained at Toptrilos. Cleaning carried out by expert sandblasting. Fossils are well-preserved, with minimal repairs.

The Fezouata Formation or Fezouata Shale contains extraordinary fossils because the animals were quickly buried by storm deposits made of silts and clays, favorable conditions for the preservation of soft tissues (now pyritized or altered due to a mixture of iron oxides and hydroxides, hence their orange-red color)

The fossils belong to two intervals, Tremadocian and Floian, which is much less rich in fossils.
