Description: The Fezouata formation or Fezouata schist contains extraordinary fossils thanks to the fact that the animals were quickly buried by storm deposits formed by silt and clays, favorable conditions for the conservation of soft tissues (now pyritized or altered due to a mixture of oxides and iron hydroxide, hence its orange-red color)
The fossils belong to two intervals, Tremadocian and Floiense, much less rich in fossils.
Sandblasted fossil, well preserved, 100% natural, no restoration or painting.
