Information: This specimen has been analyzed petrographically and by X-ray fluorescence by the Canarian Museum of Meteorites, after its discovery in the Chwichiya region, in Western Sahara in 2020. Said museum certifies that this specimen, which belongs together with other specimens at a total mass of 602 grams, it is a polymictic basalt ecrite-type meteorite. The main mass is stored in the collections of Meteoriteslab (Las Palmas, Spain). According to the existing scientific literature, this specimen belongs to an indeterminate asteroid specimen from the main asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter. The radiometric age of the specimen places it at the origins of the Solar System, with about 4,500 million years. We deliver each specimen we have of this fall with a copy of the meteorite's certification report.
This piece will travel insured in a safety package to arrive in perfect condition.
