Description: The Fezouata Formation or Fezouata Shale contains extraordinary fossils because the animals were quickly buried by storm deposits made of silts and clays, favorable conditions for the preservation of soft tissues (now pyritized or altered due to a mixture of iron oxides and hydroxides, hence their orange-red color)
The fossils belong to two intervals, Tremadocian and Floian, which is much less rich in fossils.
Sandblasted fossil, well preserved, 100% natural, without restoration or painting.
This piece will travel insured in a safety package to arrive in perfect condition.
