Description: The Fezouata formation or Fezouata shale contains extraordinary fossils because the animals were quickly buried by storm deposits formed by silt and clay, favorable conditions for the conservation of soft tissues (now pyritized or altered due to a mixture of oxides and hydroxides of iron, hence its orange-red color)
The fossils belong to two intervals, Tremadocian and Floian, much less rich in fossils.
Sandblasted fossil, well preserved, 100% natural, without restoration or painting.
This piece will travel insured in a safety package to arrive in perfect condition.
